POST PRODUCTION - 2007 RATES

Our custom designed studios feature a superb master-control room built to broadcast specifications, equipped with dual processor Apple and dual Xeon Dell workstations, ultra-fast internal and external media storage, professional Plextor DVD/CD burners, digital vectroscopes and waveform displays, NTSC monitors, 16:9 HDTV LCD screen panels, highly accurate audio playback systems using Bryston amplification and Dynaudio studio reference standard speakers (both stereo & 5.1 surround sound), and a wide array of hardware, software and plug-ins for high-level audio/video post-production.

If audio post-production is required, we offer a superb adjacent recording studio with Protools HD2 Accel digital audio systems with frame accurate SMPTE audio/video sync, a vast array of analogue and digital signal processing, voice-over isolation booth, live room, and a Knoll-Zeiss large screen HDTV projection system. Professionally calibrated high quality custom transfers between any consumer or professional formats, as well as rapid CD and DVD burns and duplication, are available upon request.

We feature Avid Studio Complete HD and Apple Final Cut Pro HD.

Rates are quoted in Canadian Dollars and include the services of highly qualified video editor, along with full usage of a wide array of available software, titling tools, sound effects libraries, and royalty free music collections.

These prices are subject to change without notice; and do not include any specialty gear rentals or additional staffing. The prices indicated here are valid only if using DV, CD, DVD, ATA, SATA, Firewire, MiniDV or SVHS as the source media; either our non-removable internal Raptor or removable external firewire drives as the storage media; and DVD, CD, SVHS MiniDV or hard disc drive final output. Rates for other media creation and storage options may be obtained by contacting us.

Specially formatted disc drive(s) and/or SCSI and RAID arrays may be required for High Definition and uncompressed media creation & storage, and are not included in these rates. Final output media such as blank DVD or CD or Tape or Hard Disc media will be charged for on a per item basis. Please contact us directly for current rates for capturing and/or editing and post-production using BetaSP, DVC Pro, HDV, DigiBeta, HDTV, animation, and any uncompressed format sources.

Rates are quoted in Canadian Dollars and are subject to change. These rates do not include PST & GST, or special custom services such as additional staffing or gear/instrument rentals or piano tuning.

If capturing/tracking/mixing remember to add an additional $ 73.00 per each specially formatted 40-gigabyte ATA133 hard disk drive to store your media. Output media such as CDs or DVDs are not included.

All audio post sessions require a 50% deposit at least 1 week in advance to reserve space. Deposits are non-refundable, but may be fully credited (one time only!) in the event the session is cancelled at least 72 hours prior to the original booking date and is rescheduled for use within a 30 day time period, if space is available.

There is a 2 hour minimum required for all studio bookings
